Berkshire Media, in order to identify and felicitate the exceptional institutes & colleges each year follows the most transparent and authentic process of selection. Through our comprehensive market research & survey techniques we try to uncover the mindset of the society at large. The research for India’s Education Excellence Awards involves a significant amount of field work & research services to discover the best institutions in their particular industry segment from all over India. The research process also allows us to reach out to the people and understand that what factors drive them in choosing a particular college/institution.
The entire research platform was divided into the following levels:-
- Level 1 : Level one of the research involves a consumer survey for educational institutes/colleges/universities etc., conducted by the Berkshire Media team in different regions of India. The survey was done in 20 states, covering more than 100 major cities of India where in 1,54,568 responses were obtained for over 500 institutions.
The consumers were asked to vote for the institutions they find BEST in that particular industry segment and at the same time survey questionnaire further asked the respondents to give their valuable feedback upon the infrastructure, student development, faculty, academic curriculum, course material, management, extra-curricular activities, admission process, placements etc. to ensure the credibility of the whole process.
The respondents included students, teachers, mentors, parents, alumni, industrial & non-industrial organisations etc. who were also asked to give a trust rating to each of the college/institution they voted for.
- Level 2 : The responses obtained by the consumers were thoroughly examined by our research team and a list of more than 500 institutions from all over India was prepared. The list was further scrutinized on a scale of 1 to 10 (where 1 is the lowest and 10 is the highest) and top 100 voted institutions were shortlisted after the team evaluation keeping in mind the parameters mentioned in the Level 1 of the process to best reflect the choice & preference of the consumers.
- Final Level: The list of final 50 best institutions of India was prepared based on the responses & the trust rating obtained from the survey and the scores received by the editorial team.
- Analysis: The cumulative scoring of Berkshire Media team and consumer votes was under taken to finalize the winners of “INDIA’S EDUCATION EXCELLENCE AWARDS 2021”. The study was conducted by Berkshire Media, USA, a company specializing in market research & brand surveys.
